Brock Girl’s Golf Team Wins 3rd Place in the Class 3A State Tournament
The Brock Girl’s golf team narrowly edged out Sonora by 1 stroke and Lago Vista by 2 strokes to claim 3rd place at the State Tournament, behind 2nd place Rockdale and 1st place Ingram Moore. The team was in 6th place after day 1, but improved by 11 strokes on day 2 to move into 3rd place. Anarenee Beyer shot 86 and 83 for a two day total of 169, to finished tied for 5th individually. The Brock Boy’s doubles team of Zach Kursteiner and Rayce Mitchell won 2nd place at the State Tennis Tournament in College Station last week, earning silver medals. The pair defeated a team from Ingram Tom Moore in the quarterfinals and then beat a team from Franklin in the semifinals to advance to the finals against the team from Wall.

Brock’s Garrett Leek Wins Silver at the Golf State Tournament
The Brock Boy’s Golf Team finished 7th overall in the team standings at the UIL State Golf Tournament, held at Grey Rock GC in Austin. The top three teams from each region qualify for the state tournament. Garrett Leek won 2nd place in the individual standings with a two day total of 144 to take the silver medal. Team members include Tim Hoffman, Takota Taylor, Garrett Leek, Justin Cummins, and Michael Redwine. For complete results click on the link below.
Baseline Testing Information
We are trying to get every athlete in the district to have a baseline test so that we may better care for our athletes and provide quality care should they sustain a concussion.
If you have a JUNIOR HIGH athlete who was unable to attend the baseline testing, please sign up via this link for a time slot in June.
If you have a HIGH SCHOOL athlete who has NOT had a concussion baseline test, please also sign them up for a time slot in June.

Brock High School Band Earns The School’s First Sweepstakes Award
On March 8th, the Varsity Concert Band earned all superior ratings in both concert and sight-reading (a first for the Brock Band). In addition, the band earned their first sweepstakes award which works in conjunction with last semester's marching band results (also for the first time in school history). This year, the students of the Brock Band have broken a total of 5 school records!
The Brock Softball Team Goes Undefeated in District to Claim the 7-3A Championship
The Brock Lady Eagle softball team completed district play with an 11-8 win over Tolar to finish with a perfect 12-0 record in District 7-3A. The district sweep gives the Lady Eagles their third consecutive District Championship. They are 23-4 on the year. As playoff information becomes available it will be posted here.
Brock Golf Teams Win District 7-3A Championships
The Brock boy’s and girl’s golf teams won the team District 7-3A Championship on Friday at Canyon West Golf Course. Both teams led in team standings after finishing round one played at Shady Oaks GC, in Baird. The boy’s team posted a two day total of 669. Senior Midwestern signee and individual District Champ Garrett Leek lead all players, posting scores of 69 and 72. The girl’s team posted a two day score of 739, with Anarenee Beyer leading the with a score of 175 followed closely by Bailey Wagner with a score of 176. The two girls finished 1st and 2nd individually. The teams will compete in the Region I tournament, held at Shady Oaks GC. The boys will play April 23rd-24th, and the girls will play April 25th-26th.
The UIL announced the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 reclassification and realignment for Football, Basketball and Volleyball (all other sports will be announced in March).
